
Nampak, South Africa’s largest manufacturer of beverage cans, is inviting applications for the 2025 Nampak Trainee Production Operator Learnership at Nampak Metals Springs. In partnership with Optimum Learning Technologies, this 12-month programme offers an NQF 3 Occupational Certificate in Production Operations, starting 1 October 2025.

About the Nampak Learnership Programme
Successful applicants will receive training at Nampak and complete workplace integration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This includes rotating between roles to gain technical skills, competence, and flexibility, while ensuring adherence to safety standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Nampak Trainee Production Operator Learnership 2025, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have passed Grade 12 Mathematics, Physical Science (minimum 40%) and English.
- Possess a National Technical Certificate (advantageous).
- Be unemployed (18.2 category).
- Have basic computer literacy.
- Reside within a 50 km radius of Nampak Springs.
- Show strong technical aptitude, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
